C3 Overseas Mission
Reaching beyond ourselves
William T. Bryant of The Outreach Foundation explains the vital role mission plays in the life of a congregation: "It is never enough for the church to be simply a worshipping fellowship whose members love and care for one another... The worshipping community must carry the inspiration of worship and the spirit of Christ's love beyond the precincts of the sanctuary to the places where people live beyond the knowledge of the saving love of Jesus Christ."
Of course we can't all quit our jobs, pack suitcases, and fly off to another continent to become missionaries. And our lives are already filled with significant mission challenges right here in Cambridge.
But by supporting and our sponsoring other people from the C3 family that are answering God's call to serve abroad will help provide an understanding of an aspect of mission that most of us cannot experience firsthand.
