Our new home: the C3 Centre
The last two years have been significant for the future of C3. In February 2010, after many years of searching for a suitable site to build the C3 centre, we completed the purchase of the former St Stephen's church site on Coldhams Lane for a cash purchase price of £1.25 million and in December last year we were granted planning permission!!
Praise God for his favour!!!
We are deeply grateful for your contribution (financially and in prayer) and have been overwhelmed by the generosity of spirit within C3. From the last two vision offerings and monthly standing orders we have raised over £300,000!
The year ahead: 2012
The planning permission will take a few weeks to be processed and with any application, there maybe a number of conditions associated with the approval, these may be to do with time scale, materials we can use, disabled provision etc.
This is a significant stage of the journey achieved which enables us to proceed full steam ahead in getting the detailed design completed (see drawings below) which will be used as the basis for tenders with various contractors for building packages. These will include mechanical and electrical design, AV equipment, steel framing, landscaping (plus many more), all of these will incur significant costs.
 
Funding for the building
During this design phase, we will also be approaching banks, trusts, foundations, potential corporate partners, as well as influential individuals to consider supporting our building project and becoming a partner to C3.
We are exceedingly blessed by those that have given generously and continue to sow into the seed of the vision of C3 through their finances – thank you for your commitment and trust.

3. Cash/Cheque one-off donation*
4. Through Charities Aid Foundation Giving, Stewardship Services and other similar schemes
5. Payroll giving
6. In the form of quoted shares and certain other securities (This entitles you to tax relief)
*If you are a UK taxpayer then please make sure you sign a C3 Gift Aid form which enables us to claim 25p in every £1 of your giving from the Inland Revenue.
If you are a higher rate tax payer and complete a Self Assessment Return, make sure you include the gross total of all Gift Aid Donations as this is how you claim the higher rate relief.
