If you’d like to get more involved in offering practical help to your local community, but aren’t quite sure how to go about it, then the Besom has the answer. Besom is a charity which links individuals and groups with people who really need the assistance that you can give.
There are a number of ways in which you can get involved:
- Sign up for one of C3’s small groups and join us as we take on projects like gardening for the elderly or helping to paint a single parent’s home.
- Help out as an individual by collecting, sorting, and delivering donations of food and furniture to the people who need it most.
- Donate basic household items to help people moving into new and often bare council houses, or alternatively make a cash donation.
The choice is yours; Besom gives you the opportunity to give something of yourself to others.
To get involved as an individual or as part of a small group please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us on 01223 844415. Find out more about Besom in Cambridge at www.thebesomincambridge.org.uk or join our Facebook Group.
