Dear-Church-Banner

Different churches have different strengths and weaknesses; areas where they are flourishing, and other areas where they need to grow and develop.

What matters most isn’t how we compare to other churches, what other people think about us, or even what we think about ourselves. The key question is ‘How does Jesus think we are doing?’

The leaders of the church in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea may or may not have been asking this question, but in the book of Revelation Jesus has a message for each of these churches. In these open letters he tells them what they are getting right, and where they need to up their game! Sometimes it is a message of encouragement and other times a message of rebuke and correction.

In this new series we will be looking closely at these seven churches; how we can emulate their success and learn from their mistakes. And throughout the series we will be listening to what Jesus is saying to our church here in Cambridge!
